Cuba's Not-So-Self Employed

Saturday, February 1, 2014
According to the Castro regime's official statistics, over 407,600 Cubans have "terminated" their self-employment licenses since 2010.

Meanwhile, its tally of current self-employed licensees is 444,109.

(That's quite an attrition rate.)

Of these, the Castro regime boasts that 257,639 "self-employed" licensees are under the control of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC), the state's official and only permitted labor union.

In other words, according to their own statistics, nearly 60% of Cuba's so-called self-employed licensees are officially affiliated to the Castro regime.

More "reform" you can't believe in.
